Lachenmeier Monsun was asked to provide a solution for the transport of wood chips as the AVA is expanding their main incineration of waste to include biomass – primarily straw. To provide an economic and reliable operation, AVA has chosen a backup solution of wood chips in case of problems with supply of straw. The power plant can deliver up to 50% wood chips.
Lachenmeier Monsun supplied transport system, barrier plant, magnet, aspiration and cleaning systems as well as various safety systems. Our suppliers Danpro Steel Construction A/S and Persolit A/S delivered the steel structures, conveyor bridges and building façade.
The truck and frontloader intake for wood chips has a capacity of 300m³
